Color Piano is optimized tablet-first for iPad and Android touch screens. Mobile Safari and Chrome require a single touch gesture to enable Web Audio playback. Simply tap the unlock banner or any key once when the page loads to enable full piano sound.
Each musical pitch is assigned a bright, distinct color: C is Red, D is Orange, E is Yellow, F is Green, G is Cyan, A is Blue, and B is Purple. In Practice mode, the exact key to tap glows with a pulse indicator and displays in the Next note HUD. Tapping the correct note advances the song smoothly; tapping a wrong note plays a soft cue without losing progress.
Start with Practice mode on Slow tempo for first-time learners. Say the note colors out loud note colors out loud before tapping. Short 5 to 10 minute daily practice sessions build finger coordination and musical memory far better than long weekly lessons.
