Justools

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Justools (justools.io) handles information when you use our website and browser tools. Most tools process files on your device. We do not require an account to use the core tools.

Who we are

Justools provides free online utilities at justools.io. For privacy questions, contact justools.business@gmail.com.

Files and tool processing

Most Justools tools run in your browser using client-side code. When you select a file (for example a PDF or image), that file is read and processed on your device.

File contents from those client-side tools are not uploaded to Justools servers for processing, storage, or logging, unless a specific tool page clearly states otherwise.

Some tools may keep a temporary copy of your selection in local browser storage (such as IndexedDB) so a refresh does not force you to re-select files. That storage stays on your device. Clearing site data or using Clear files removes it. Private or incognito windows may discard it when the tab closes.

Information we may collect

We may collect limited technical and usage information needed to run and improve the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device/browser type, referral URL, and interaction events.

If you email us, we receive the address and content you send. Do not include passwords or highly sensitive documents in email.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregated traffic and feature use.

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use pages (including session insights such as clicks and scrolling). Clarity may use cookies or similar technologies.

We use Google AdSense to show display ads that help keep Justools free. AdSense and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where allowed by law and your settings.

Google and other vendors provide their own privacy controls. You can learn more in Google’s advertising and privacy documentation and, where available, manage ad personalization in your Google account or browser settings.

In regions that require it, we use Google Consent Mode defaults and Google’s consent messaging for AdSense so consent choices can affect advertising and measurement tags.

Hosting and service providers

The website is hosted on infrastructure provided by Vercel and related content-delivery networks. Those providers may process technical request logs (such as IP address and user agent) as part of delivering the site securely and reliably.

How we use information

We use information to operate justools.io, keep tools working, measure performance, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and fund the site through advertising.

Data retention

Client-side file data remains on your device until you clear it. Analytics and advertising partners retain data according to their own policies. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to respond and maintain basic records.

Children

Justools is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can clear cookies and site data in your browser, use private browsing, block or limit third-party cookies, or use an ad blocker (which may also hide ad slots).

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact justools.business@gmail.com to make a request. We may need to verify the request and explain if an exception applies.

International visitors

justools.io may be accessed worldwide. Information processed by our hosting, analytics, and advertising partners may be handled in countries other than your own, including the United States and Australia, subject to applicable law and those providers’ safeguards.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
