Lasso crop lets you draw a freehand outline instead of a rectangle. Everything outside that outline is removed, so you can cut out an irregular subject like a person, product, or logo without using a full photo editor.

Feather softens the edge of the cutout instead of leaving a crisp outline. At 0, every pixel is either fully inside or fully outside the lasso, which can look jagged on hair, clothing, or curved products. Raise the slider to fade that boundary over a few pixels so the PNG sits more naturally on a new background. A small value such as 2 to 8 pixels is enough for most photos. Large values create a wide haze and make the subject look less sharp. Feather only affects the mask edge. It does not blur the photo itself, and it still runs in your browser with no upload.
